UMC Pumpkin Patch

Every Fall the First Methodist Church brings in a semi-truck load of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colors. There is plenty of unique and festive décor for families to enjoy. UMC also invites field trips for local school and has Pumpkin Patch storytimes. The patch opens October 11 for the 2019 Fall season. For those who are looking to volunteer may contact the church for more information.

Yahweh’s All-Natural Farm and Garden

This diversified urban farm offers Farm Tours to show how they grow the fruits and vegetables along with how they raise all the animals. Visitors can also check out the milking parlor and petting zoo. This farm is a part of the Community Supported Agriculture partnership. This allows for USDA Certified Organic Produce to be delivered to your door either weekly or bi-weekly.
