We want to help our community as much as possible. Keep reading to learn more about Habitat for Humanity and how you can help out.
What is Habitat for Humanity?
This nonprofit organization started in 1976 as a grassroots effort to help house members of the farming community in southern Georgia. Habitat for Humanity has grown to spread across all 50 states in the US and to 70 counties. For those who need housing can find support through Habitat for Humanity and its many volunteers.
How can I help out?
There are a few ways you can help out Habitat for Humanity. Some of the ways you can help are by giving donations of any amount or shopping at the ReStore. Otherwise, you can volunteer your time by either helping out with home builds or volunteering at the ReStore. People looking to donate items can do so by contacting the ReStore. These items offer a way for community members to buy low-cost furniture while also helping fund Habitat for Humanity.
