Nissan Celebrated Fourth of July 2017 with License Plates
The 4th of July may be over, but that doesn’t mean the party has to stop! We are proud to be Americans every single day of the year! And we are always grateful to have so much to celebrate! This year, Nissan decided to join the celebration with a very clever display that pays homage to the United States Constitution. The Old Story of a New Country
American artist Mike Wilkins created a modern-day twist on the Preample to the United States Constitution spread out across 51 license plates from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Mr. Wilkins managed to condense the message of our forefathers into something new, as he reimagined the iconic message of our forefathers. In fact, at first glance, some may mistake his creation for a tweet on Twitter!

What does this have to do with Nissan? The display was just recently donated by Nissan Motor Corporation to the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. It spent the 4th of July on display in the north wing of the first floor of the Smithsonian, where multiple generations enjoyed Mr. Wilkins’ reimagination of the American Dream.
