  • If you are on the road and are approaching a tornado, get out of your car and lay down on the lowest point of ground with your hands over your head
  • In extreme winds be sure to leave enough room between the vehicle in front of you and drive slowly

  • Keep an eye on weather updates for flood warnings in your area
  • Avoid driving on the lower streets and stay on higher ground
  • Do not drive through a puddle if you don’t know how deep it is
