How Does Nissan Intelligent Rear View Mirror Work Exactly?
Between the first-ever RDA system, the remarkable ProPilot Assist, and the expanded standard availability of the Automatic Emergency Braking system, Nissan has been on quite a roll in the past few months. That said, this is only the beginning of a very bright future for Nissan and all of its customers. Nissan’s newest introduction to the non-luxury SUV segment is the Intelligent Rear View Mirror (I-RVM). So, how does Nissan Intelligent Rear View Mirror Work exactly?
What is Nissan Intelligent Rear View Mirror?
It all begins with a built-in LCD monitor within the traditional rearview mirror. This LCD monitor mirrors a rear-mounted camera that has an unobstructed view of the world between you and your rear bumper. With the simple flip of a switch, your traditional rearview mirror switches to the I-RVM and then vice versa. Watch the video below to see the I-RVM in action!
We hope this has answered your question – how does Nissan Intelligent Rear View Mirror Work exactly? As of now, the only non-luxury SUV with an available I-RVM is the 2018 Nissan Armada. While we do expect more Nissan vehicles to receive this incredible feature in the near future, the 2018 Armada is the lucky lone pioneer for the time being. The I-RVM is only available on the Platinum trim level of the 2018 Nissan Armada, making it a truly exclusive feature in the non-luxury SUV segment.
