Try a New Place to Eat
Whether you have a busy schedule and need to meet your Dad for a quick meal, or you have planned a nice sit-down dinner to catch up, there is a restaurant near you with the atmosphere that you are looking for. If you’re in the mood for Italian, Mexican, American or Asian food, there are plenty of local places to choose from! A few places that we recommend include Stefano’s Brooklyn Pizza, Pho #1 Vietnamese & Thai Restaurant, Khan’s Grill, La Playa Mexican Café, Sabores Del Golfo or SMOKE: Texas BBQ & Watering Hole.
Play a Round of Golf
If the weather is decent, then playing a round of golf is always a great option! Not only does it allow you and your Dad to spend time together, but it also means time spent outside! Living in the Harling area means that there are plenty of golf courses to check out. So go check out a new course, or play your favorite one! A few courses to consider are Harlingen Country Club, Treasure Hills Golf Course, Cottonwood Creek Country Club or Tony Butler Golf Course.
Go Fishing
Fishing is another great option for an activity to do outside. Whether you have your own equipment, or you prefer to rent, there are plenty of options near you. Choose a river or find a place near the coast and make a day trip out of it!
