Back to School events near Harlingen TX
Whether your kids are ready or not, back to school season is here. Before they get into the full swing of things, Harlingen has some back to school events to kick off the school season and give summer a finale. Keep reading to find some back to school events to celebrate the upcoming 2019/2020 school year.
Back 2 School Blues
This is an annual concert series that features local, national, and international Blues music artists. While admission is free, it is asked for concert-goers to bring school supplies to donate. This event is Saturday, August 24 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be live music, food, a raffle and a beer garden, so come hungry and ready for fun.
Back to School Brawl and Bike Night
Mad Boar Harley-Davidson is welcoming all riders to ride in for this Bike Night. This event starts at 5:00 pm and goes until 9:00 pm. There will be food, drinks and live music during the biking event. Admission is free to the general public.
Back 2 School Supply Drive
Help support your local teachers by attending the Back 2 School Supply Drive. Most teachers have to supply their classrooms using their own money. This event is to help Willacy County teachers by providing them supplies for the school year. Come show your support at the Rotary Club of Willacy from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
